Northern governors put aside their political differences as they meet over security challenges.

Chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum and governor of Borno State, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, has promised that governors will take a serious move on  conflicts troubling their region and come up with an implementable ways and means of addressing them squarely.

Speaking in Kaduna Thursday at the meeting of the forum, he said, “As elected leaders, it was their responsibility to look hard in to these conflicts.

“He said It is also important to proffer measures and viable strategies to forestall all forms of security challenges, that may likely erupt in the future.
